Easy: Most of our camp based trips, with easy activities, that are optional and involve fairly easy travel. Trips may include short hikes of two to three hours or optional walks at low elevations. Includes less demanding whitewater trips with easy support and myriad options.

Moderate: Active trips involving hiking over reasonable terrain, within vehicular access, upto elevations less than 4000 meters, or trips with long walking days, multiple rafting days, wilderness camping. Includes more demanding whitewater trips with Class III rapids.

Demanding: Hiking and trekking to elevations exceeding 4000-5000 meters, away from vehicular access, over multiple days. Encompasses demanding whitewater with Class IV rapids.

Challenging: Our most demanding trips include climbing at high elevations in excess of 5000 meters, in remote and extreme conditions with no access to roads; trips to remote, extreme wilderness; mountaineering trips, and demanding whitewater trips with Class IV-V rapids.

The Bhabha valley is well known for its picturesque and magnificent surroundings-dense forests and lush green flower strewn meadows. Over the pass one is awe struck on entering Spiti. The mountain scape has an exotic appearance. Barren, rugged Rocky Mountains rise from the valley floor to heights of several thousand feet. All around is a panorama of rugged crags and slopes that change hues from pale pink to bright scarlet, alternating with the soft blues and greens of the glaciers.
Day 01: Drive Thanedar (2160m) 7-8 hrs
Board the morning Kalka Shatabdi (7:40am) to be at Kalka by 11:45am. Board the waiting vehicles to be driven to Thanedar 160kms from Kalka.
Alternatively drive all the way to Thanedar. Overnight Banjara Retreat.

Day 02 : Drive Thanedar - Kafnoo (3220m) 6hrs
The drive goes through the beautiful landscape of Kinnaur to reach Kafnoo, the starting point of the trek. Overnight Camp.

Day 03 : Trek Kafnoo - Muling (3500m) 5-6hrs
Trek through the the Mustrang Village and dense forests of Pine, Cedar and Birch. After a few hours of steep climb the path gradually ascends to the campsite, a lush green meadow on the banks of the River Bhaba. Camp.

Day 04 : Trek Muling - Pistrang (3940m) 5-6hrs
The trek keeps going up the valley which starts constricting. The walk involves a small river crossing and a gradual ascent in the side valley to reach the base of Bhaba Pass. Camp.

Day 05 : Trek Pistrang - Boldar (4450m) 4-5hrs.
The first two hrs is a steep climb to the top of the Bhaba Pass (4,865m). The path now leads into Pin Valley of Spiti. Camp.

Day 06 : Trek Boldar - Gurguru (4100m) (4-5 hrs).

Day 07 : Trek Gurguru - Muth (3850m) (4-5hrs) and transfer to Kaza (3800m)
Muth is the first Spiti village. It houses about 30 to 40 families. Board the waiting vehicles to drive to Kaza. Overnight Hotel / Guest House. Visit the famous Tabo Monastery enroute.

Day 08 : A day for sightseeing in the Spiti valley.
Visit the Ki monastery and the villages around.

Day 09 : Drive Kaza to Manali (1960m) 8-9 hrs
A long day’s drive going over the Kunzum La to drop into the beautiful Chandra valley and finally over the Rohtang pass to the beautiful greens of Manali.

Day 10: Drive Manali to Chandigarh and take the train to Delhi
Drive 8 hrs to Chandigarh and board the evening Kalka Shatabdi Express leaving Chandigarh at 6:20pm to reach Delhi by 10pm. Trip ends !
