Easy: Most of our camp based trips, with easy activities, that are optional and involve fairly easy travel. Trips may include short hikes of two to three hours or optional walks at low elevations. Includes less demanding whitewater trips with easy support and myriad options.

Moderate: Active trips involving hiking over reasonable terrain, within vehicular access, upto elevations less than 4000 meters, or trips with long walking days, multiple rafting days, wilderness camping. Includes more demanding whitewater trips with Class III rapids.

Demanding: Hiking and trekking to elevations exceeding 4000-5000 meters, away from vehicular access, over multiple days. Encompasses demanding whitewater with Class IV rapids.

Challenging: Our most demanding trips include climbing at high elevations in excess of 5000 meters, in remote and extreme conditions with no access to roads; trips to remote, extreme wilderness; mountaineering trips, and demanding whitewater trips with Class IV-V rapids.

A short easy trek running parallel to the high Himalayas. Good views all the way, beautiful camping by the lake at Devariyatal and some great forests. The views from the summit of Chandrashilla will stay in ones memory for really long.

Added to this are whitewater rafting trips at exciting levels on the river Ganges. We raft 36kms from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh.
Day 01: Delhi to Delhi to Camp Silver Sands.
Board the morning Shatabdi Express departing New Delhi at 7am to be in Hardwar by 11:30 am. Transfer to Camp Silver Sands by the Ganges (50 kms away) to reach just in time for hot lunch. Option of going on a 12-km rafting trip after lunch. Evening Campfire, Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 02: Rafting at Camp Silver Sands
Tea coffee served 7:00 onwards. After breakfast, get into rafting gear, safety briefing and raft down big volume Ganga whitewater. Raft down rapids like "Three Blind Mice", "Crossfire", "Bodysurfing", "Return to Sender", "Roller Coaster", "Golf Course" and lots more. We end the trip near Laxman Jhula. Drive 30 minutes back to Camp for hot lunch. Afternoon kayaking, volleyball or hike to a nearby village.

Day 03: Camp Silver Sands to Devariyatal (2440m) 5-6 hrs drive and 2 hrs walk.
Post breakfast board the waiting vehicles to be driven up to Sari. The road goes along the river Alaknanda before entering the Mandakini valley. Its a gradual uphill all the way up to the beautiful lake of Devariyatal.

Day 04: Trek Devariyatal - Chopta (3000m) 6-7 hrs
The trail goes through the dense forest and stays on the ridge all the way to Tali. From here we descend for a while to cross a stream and then climb up gradually to reach Chopta, located in an idyllic setting having beautiful meadows and is surrounded by dense forests.

Day 05: Trek Chopta - Tungnath (3680m) - Chandrashilla Top (4130m) - Chopta & drive to Camp Silver Sands 4-5 hrs trek & 5 hrs drive.
Start early in the morning and climb up to the temple of Tungnath and beyond. Tungnath, one of the Shiva temples is the highest temple in Garhwal and has definitely a certain mystical/religious aspect which is quite based on the spectacular surrounding and views from there. Views which go far beyond the simple views of mountains.
The summit of the Chandrashilla peak provides a breathtaking 360 degree view. Evening campfire and overnight camp.

Day 06: Drive Chopta – Hardwar 6-7 hrs and take a train to Delhi
Drive to Haridwar and take the evening Shatabdi Express to reach Delhi by 10:45 pm.
