Duration: 3 Days
Easy: Most of our camp based trips, with easy activities, that are optional and involve fairly easy travel. Trips may include short hikes of two to three hours or optional walks at low elevations. Includes less demanding whitewater trips with easy support and myriad options.

Moderate: Active trips involving hiking over reasonable terrain, within vehicular access, upto elevations less than 4000 meters, or trips with long walking days, multiple rafting days, wilderness camping. Includes more demanding whitewater trips with Class III rapids.

Demanding: Hiking and trekking to elevations exceeding 4000-5000 meters, away from vehicular access, over multiple days. Encompasses demanding whitewater with Class IV rapids.

Challenging: Our most demanding trips include climbing at high elevations in excess of 5000 meters, in remote and extreme conditions with no access to roads; trips to remote, extreme wilderness; mountaineering trips, and demanding whitewater trips with Class IV-V rapids.
Grading:  Easy
 
It is a short trek on the oldest migratory route followed by shepherds of Chamba and Kangra. Years ago, the British began trekking to Triund on this route and today it is a poular trek route with the domestic as well as foreign tourists. The views from Laka are breathtaking and you occasionally come across shepherds rearing their flock of sheep in the green pastures.

Day 00. Delhi to Pathankot
Board the overnight train from Delhi to reach Chakki Bank early in the morning.

Day 01. Pathankot to Triund (2975m) 6-7 hrs
Drive about 2 hrs towards Gallu temple by car. Breakfast enroute. Start walking on the well defined trail in woods from Gallu temple to Triund 3 hrs. Camp overnight at the meadows in Triund .

Day 02. Triund to Laka (3350m) and back 4-5hrs
Have a relaxed start, after breakfast walk for 2-3 hrs to reach Laka. Laka offers an amphi-theatre view of the Moon peak and Dhaula Dhar ranges . Absorb the breathtaking views and start the downhill walk to reach the campsite for the hot lunch. One can also spend this day sipping tea, catching up with the local tales and just walking around camp.

Day 03. Triund to Pathankot 3hrs trek & 3hrs drive
Walk down to McLeod Ganj (originally established as a British garrison in the 1850s). Lunch in a restaurant and explore the township, which is more Tibetan than Indian. Home of his Holiness Dalai Lama McLeod Ganj is the capital of the Tibetan Government in Exile. Drive 3 hrs to the Pathankot railway station to board the overnight train.

Day 04. Arrive Delhi
Reach Delhi by 4.20am. Trip ends !
